Finding a good Quran teacher close to home is harder than it sounds. The local madrasa may not have a slot that fits school hours, a home tutor may come late or not at all, and many parents simply want someone who will listen closely to their child, or to them, and correct every letter. Our online Quran classes in India solve that with one live teacher, one student and a time you choose.
Online Islamic Institute teaches only the Quran: Noorani Qaida, Nazra (reading), Tajweed and Hifz. Every class is one-to-one, with male and female teachers, 24/7 in IST. Your first 3 classes are a free trial, and you pay only once you are satisfied.
Who our online Quran classes are for
We teach families across India, and most students fall into one of three groups.
Kids
Children usually start between four and seven with the Arabic letters, then move on to reading. A patient teacher, a short class and a fixed time before or after school make a huge difference. Our online Quran classes for kids explain how we keep young learners engaged without pressure.
Ladies
Many sisters prefer to learn at home, at a quiet hour, with a female teacher. You can ask for one when you book. Mothers often learn alongside their children, or take a late-evening slot once the house settles. See our Quran classes for ladies.
Adults and working professionals
It is never too late. Plenty of adults learned a little as children and stopped, or never had the chance. A one-to-one class means nobody else is listening, so you can start from the very first letter without embarrassment, at 6 am before the office or at 11 pm after it.
Our Quran courses
The same four courses run for kids, ladies and adults. Your teacher checks your level in the free trial and suggests where to begin.
- Noorani Qaida online: the Arabic letters, their sounds, joining, and the vowel marks. This is where complete beginners start.
- Nazra Quran online: reading the Quran from the mushaf, page by page, with the teacher correcting as you go.
- Online Tajweed classes: the rules of correct recitation, makharij, ghunnah, madd and stopping, practised on real ayahs.
- Online Hifz classes: memorising the Quran with a personal plan for new lessons and steady revision.
How the classes work
Classes are live on Zoom or Skype, whichever is easier for you. All you need is a phone, tablet or laptop with a steady internet connection.
- The teacher shares the Quran page on screen, so you both look at the same line. Children can also follow in their own Indo-Pak mushaf at home.
- You read, the teacher listens, stops at mistakes, says the correct sound and has you repeat it.
- You choose your days. Five days a week is common, but some students take fewer days or add weekends.
- The same teacher stays with you, so they know your mistakes and your progress.
Timings: 24/7 in IST, 7 days a week
We teach around the clock, every day of the week, so the class fits your routine rather than the other way round. Popular slots in India are just after Fajr before school, the late afternoon once children have eaten, and late evening for working adults. More on how families plan this in Quran class timings in India.
Why families in India choose online classes over a local tutor
A local madrasa or a tutor who comes home has real strengths: you can meet the teacher, and children learn alongside others. But families tell us about the same problems again and again. The class time clashes with school or tuition. The tutor misses days in the rains or during weddings. A teacher with a room full of children cannot stop every student at every mistake. And for ladies, finding a female teacher who can come at a suitable hour is often impossible.
A one-to-one online class removes most of that. The time is fixed and kept. Nobody travels. The teacher hears only one voice, so a wrong makhraj or a missed ghunnah is caught the moment it happens. Parents can sit in the next room, or in the same room, and hear exactly what is being taught. And if a family moves from one city to another, the teacher simply moves with them.
What progress looks like
Every student moves at their own pace, so we do not promise a fixed number of months for any course. What you will notice is steady, visible steps. A young child starts recognising letters and joining them into words. A Nazra student reads a little further each week, with fewer stops. A Tajweed student starts hearing their own mistakes before the teacher points them out. Your teacher will tell you honestly where things stand, and you are always welcome to ask.
Short daily practice between classes helps more than anything else. Five or ten minutes of reading the last lesson aloud, ideally at the same time each day, keeps the sounds fresh for the next class.
Fees in Indian rupees
The fee is the same for every course:
| Plan (Monday to Friday) | Fee |
|---|---|
| Monthly | ₹4,000 per month |
| 6 months | ₹21,000 |
| 12 months | ₹36,000 |
These are Monday to Friday plans. For weekend classes or any other schedule, our team will discuss the options with you. We do not publish other prices. A full breakdown is in our guide to online Quran classes fees in India.
3 free trial classes, then pay only if you are satisfied
Before you pay anything, you take 3 free classes with your actual teacher. Use them to check the things that matter: does the teacher correct mistakes, is the time right, is your child comfortable? If the answer is yes, choose a plan. If not, you simply do not continue, and there is nothing to pay. Because you decide after the trial, we do not offer refunds.
Male and female teachers
We have both. Many families ask for a female teacher for girls and ladies, and some adults prefer a male teacher. Tell us when you book and we will match you.
How to join in 3 steps
- Message us. Tap Chat on WhatsApp, or fill in the short contact form with the student’s name, age and the course you are interested in.
- Pick your times. Tell us the days and IST times that suit you. We match a teacher who is free then.
- Start your 3 free classes. Join on Zoom or Skype. After the trial, choose a plan only if you are happy.
A longer walk-through is in how to join online Quran classes in India. If you are still comparing academies, our checklist on the best online Quran classes in India may help, and Tajweed students can read about Tajweed course fees and timings.
