Language and the mushaf
Teachers explain in Urdu, Hindi or English. Most Kashmiri children are comfortable with Urdu explanations alongside Kashmiri at home. The Quran is read in Arabic from an Indo-Pak script mushaf, which is standard in Kashmiri homes.
