Ahmedabad’s Muslim families, in the old walled city, Juhapura, Shahpur, Dariapur and the growing western suburbs, have strong maktab traditions. Many still want that discipline, with the added comfort of a teacher who sits one-to-one with their child at home, at a time that fits the family’s business or office hours.
Our online Quran classes in Ahmedabad give you exactly that: live, one-to-one, from home.
Class timings that fit a Ahmedabad day
Many Ahmedabad families run businesses with late evening hours, and dinner can be late. That makes an early morning class after Fajr, or an after-school class around 4 to 6 pm, popular for children. Adults who close shops late often choose a class after 10 pm.
In the peak summer heat, families generally avoid any afternoon travel, so a home class is easier to keep.
| Time (IST) | Who usually picks it |
|---|---|
| After Fajr, 6:00 to 7:00 am | Kids before school |
| 4:00 to 6:00 pm | Kids after school |
| 10:00 pm onwards | Business owners and working adults |
These are only examples. We teach 24/7, seven days a week, and you choose your own days and time.
Language and the mushaf
Teachers explain in Urdu, Hindi or English. Many Ahmedabad families speak Gujarati at home and Urdu or Hindi too; children usually follow Hindi easily. The Quran is read in Arabic, and Indo-Pak script mushafs are standard.
Who learns with us in Ahmedabad
We teach Ahmedabad children starting the Qaida, older kids moving to Nazra and Tajweed, Hifz students who want a personal revision plan, and ladies who want a female teacher.
Families with two or three children often book back-to-back one-to-one slots, so the whole household’s Quran time happens in one hour of the evening. Some Ahmedabad parents learned to read as children and now want to correct their own recitation before teaching their kids. They often take a short adult class at night while their children learn earlier in the evening.
Courses
The same four Quran courses run in every city: Noorani Qaida online for beginners, Nazra Quran online for fluent reading, online Tajweed classes for correct recitation, and online Hifz classes for memorisation. Families can also read about our Quran classes for kids and Quran classes for ladies, with female teachers on request.
Classes are live on Zoom or Skype. The teacher shares the Quran page on screen, listens to every word and corrects mistakes as they happen.
